April: Trini Foundation

Apr 1, 2017

In the past, CBY has been a contributor to various causes that spoke to our hearts. This year, CBY will be implementing a monthly donation jar in the hopes to increase our impact of giving to the community. Our yoga practice teaches us that in order to care for others, we must care for ourselves. Eventually, that self-care must extend. It is completely up to you whether or not you choose to participate.

For the month of APRIL, we’ll be collecting donations — loose change, whole dollars, whatever you want to contribute — and everything collected by the end of the month will be matched and donated by CBY to Trini Foundation. In March, we raised $396 for The Give Back Yoga Foundation! Your loose change helps better the lives of our fellow humans, thank you.

About Trini Foundation:

The Trini Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga yoga to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. It's their mission to provide yoga as a tool to aide in the recovery process and help those who are suffering maintain long-term sobriety.

Andrew Eppler Weekend Workshops: Apr 28-30 2017

Feb 26, 2017

Andrew Eppler Returns to CBY April 28 - 30!

Yoga workshops with Andrew Eppler are insightful and kind-hearted. His workshops are a glimpse into a traditional world from a contemporary point of view, and get right to the point of why we practice yoga and what it does for us as it becomes established in our lives. Andrew has studied with Sri BNS Iyengar, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, David Williams, Danny Paradise, and Cliff Barber. He has practiced, taught, and studied in many parts of the world over the last 30 years. Andrew focuses on the fundamental techniques of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga including Surya Namaskar, Vinyasa, Alignment, Bandhas, Mudra, Pranayama, and the Philosophy behind these practices. Andrew tries to enrich each student’s yoga experience by encouraging an approach that makes Yoga a healing, empowering, evolving, consciousness expanding, sacred, and lifelong journey

“I have no magic powers other than the power to practice an art form that I love and to make people smile and take them for a moment to a place of wonder where anything can happen. Reality is very fragile indeed when you start to examine it carefully.” ~Andrew Eppler

Click here for more information about the individual sessions, pricing, and registration.

Please note: 9am Mysore & 6pm Second Series Fri Apr 28 + all regular classes Sat Apr 29 and Sun Apr 30 will be canceled to accommodate the workshop.

“My goal in teaching is to inspire people to believe in themselves and to cultivate a daily practice that fits in their life, and to make it a sacred, healing, evolving, life long journey to explore our fullest potential.” ~Andrew Eppler

Give the gift of Yoga

Jan 10, 2017

Know someone in your life that would appreciate the gift of yoga? Perhaps there's someone who wants to give it a try, but needs a little extra nudge. Regardless of the reason, or the season, why not give the gift of yoga?!

You can purchase gift cards ONLINE, in-house, or over the phone (281.257.4245). Options range from $25-$100, or choose a custom amount that suits your budget.

We can also assign credits directly to a current student's account, if that works better for you and there's no need for a digital or tangible certificate.
